Another assembled-as-I-blog-along post.
Twitter, as they say, is a fast way of broadcasting one's thoughts to the net, much like a status update on Facebook. Very minimal, very simple, and it gets the job done.
To me, if you place a Twitter update section on your own blog but actually do not add new posts to the blog, then I think it's become a sad excuse for being too lazy to update a blog. I've seen some of my friends' blog become like this, and sometimes, I really do look forward to them blogging again.
As you can see, my blog has no Twitter feeds page whatsoever. Didn't really get the point of Twitter and Plurk; besides, I already can update my status on Facebook.
I was just reading my previous post, the one about self-analysis and girls and blah blah blah, and then it hit me that there was an inherent issue myself; I am not exactly too sociable, which I thought I was (ironically so during the secondary school days). Too many inside jokes? Limited topics to talk about? Me being boring? No way I can figure this out myself; I need someone else to help me out with this one haha :P
Then comes Facebook. Annoying, really annoying ads about 'Meet Your Girlfriend' and other kinds of nonsense ads. I mean, seriously, Facebook? You're gonna allow these people to place these ads?
Anyway, I've had to filter through 1k photos, yet again. I went to help my friend take photos of a certain competition that he and the club went to. Well it was tiring to say the least. Judo. Those guys were fast. Manual Focus was really hard to use, though the 80-200 f/2.8 did give excellent shots when the focus was in check.
I'm done filtering them already, and now I'm proceeding to convert the video into something of more sensible file sizes. 300mb is by no means a small amount of data to upload.
Next, I don't really feel like sleeping. I lack the feel to sleep.
Listening to songs is therapeutic.
Sorry guys, I just don't have the groove to pen down super-lengthy, over-explained, over-complicated thoughts. Maybe cos' I resolved them. Or maybe they haven't emerged yet. Or they are suppressed by the music.
Ah! I was thinking about how to improve my photography! About how to distinguish myself! OK firstly the basic lens is too versatile, so I can't really use equipment to differentiate myself from the crowd, unless I buy a battery grip and use my other lens. Ah how the others are missing out on the MF 80-200 f/2.8 lens, unless they got the modern AF 80-200 f/2.8 ones. Fags lol.
Well, I hope that I do take better shots as I attend event after event. I wish to be 'pro' level, sans the extensive portfolio and godly equipment. When I mean 'pro' level, it's the type of shots and level of postprocessing. Not over the top photoshopping. Just getting the basics right, the color, the contrast, and the composition!
Ok I'll save you guys the agony from reading all this poorly-assembled trash. I'll come back when I have something better. *bows down head in shame*
gibs.
